Elvis Presley may be gone, but his music and spirit live on — especially at the Parkes Elvis Festival, an impressive gathering to honor the artist in Parkes, Australia each year.
The small town west of Sydney hosts the unique festival, which generally runs for five days in January to coincide with Presley’s birthday. Fans flock to honor the King of Rock and Roll with tribute performances, lookalike contests and rugby games.
