The past week has been chock full of more stacked MLB Spring Training games as teams ready for Opening Day, as well as some seriously dramatic finishes in the final rounds of the NCAA Tournament, leading up to this weekend’s Final Four and Monday night’s championship.

Photos of the week: 3/24 – 3/31

One of the biggest stories out of this past week was the official beginning of Brexit, or the United Kingdom’s recent decision to leave the European Union. British Prime Minister Theresa May signed Article 50 on Tuesday, formally stating the nation’s intent to separate.

Stateside, the GOP elected to pull the American Health Care Act bill, designed to replace the Affordable Care Act, late on Friday. Later on in the week, President Trump welcomes Prime Minister of Denmark Lars Lokke Rasmussen to the White House.

Photos of the week: 3/17 – 3/24

The biggest story out of the past week was the tragic set of attacks in London on Wednesday. Several people were stuck by a car on Westminster Bridge while an armed assailant entered nearby Parliament and stabbed a police officer. Five people, including the police officer and the attacker, were killed, while many more remain hospitalized.

That same day elsewhere in Europe, the first anniversary of the attacks on the metro and airport in Brussels, Belgium, was commemorated.

The best photos from the week in sports: 3/17 – 3/24

Basketball fans have had plenty to enjoy lately, with March Madness in full swing and chock full of upsets, and the playoff race heating up in the pros — with flared tempers resulting in several fights in an odd week for the NBA.

The World Baseball Classic ended this week with the United States topping Puerto Rico in the championship, and we’re now mere days away from MLB Opening Day.

Photos of the week: 3/10 – 3/17

One of the biggest stories in the United States this week was Winter Storm Stella, which hit the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic on Tuesday leaving many unable to travel.

Religious holidays, including the Hindu festival of Holi and the Jewish celebration of Purim, were observed around the world. In England, the annual Crufts Dog Show took place, and an already world-famous Pygmy Hippo calf made her debut at a zoo in Sydney, Australia.

The best photos from the week in sports: 3/3 – 3/10

The past week in the sports world was a busy one.

Not only is it spring training for Major League Baseball, but the World Baseball Classic is also taking place in countries around the globe as we inch closer and closer to MLB Opening Day.

The ACC and Pac-12 basketball tournaments took place ahead of Selection Sunday for March Madness, and the NFL Combine was held in Indianapolis.
